So, you’d like to spend more time out there on your beautiful deck or patio, but you see those butt-busting pieces of furniture and it almost seems more like some sort of cruel torture than pleasure. If you’ve dreaded the purchase of those new patio cushions because of the cost or difficulty in finding them, then you’re in luck. There has never been a better time than now to enjoy some new cushions. Well, depending on the part of the country you’re in, you may find that reading this is putting you in the middle of a cold, wet, winter season. Just remember, spring is right around the corner! The point is, you’ve got the patio furniture for a reason, but you just don’t want to subject yourself to the pain of the hard metal feel of your wrought iron patio furniture or the splinters of your wooden deck chairs.

Would you want to sit on this for hours on end?
Who in their right mind would want to sit on that stuff without one?! The only problem is, how do you find the right size and shape? Or, once you find that, what about the pattern? Sometimes it can be chic to have a 1950s print, but not everyone is that interested in that style alone. Other people prefer a more modern look or feel to complement their nice wooden furniture. There has been a spike in sales of teak furniture cushions for this reason alone.
Patio furniture cushions are like futon covers for your futon bed. You can find quite a variety and fabric types these days and it won’t cost you an arm and a leg. In fact, it might cost you an arm or a leg sitting on that rusty or splintered old stuff if you don’t have any outdoor furniture covers.
Think of the amount of time you could spend outside with your cup of coffee, just reading that magazine. Or watching the kids play around in the yard. You certainly have been at parties where the hosts had some nice food, great company and plenty of seating, but everyone was standing. Sometimes, it’s the unspoken stuff that makes your guests feel like something is missing. It’s not that patio cushions will make you the neighborhood hero or get you voted most popular party host, it’s just a nice touch. It’s those types of nice touches that will also have you sitting more comfortably outdoors and enjoying your patio even more as well.
